A few months ago, I wrote an article about the things that Sony got wrong with regard to the Playstation Vita. This article will focus on the opposite end of the spectrum and highlight things that Sony got right when it came to their gaming handheld.
PinoyDVD members Dan (who provided the image ) and jackryan have found a notice to the public statement from X-Play’s law firm in Today’s edition of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. As previously reported, the notice states that X-Play has a “sub-distributorship” agreement with EpicSoft for all versions of NBA 2K13; and Take 2 was not directly involved in the deal.
TPC member harl4444 has uncovered IP E-Game Ventures, Inc.’s quarterly report to shareholders for the period which ended in September 30th, 2012. The report was released via the Philippine Stock Exchange website on November 14th, 2012. According to the said report, Epicsoft Asia is the entity that granted X-Play the exclusive rights to market and distribute the game in Philippine shores.

TipidPC member “y3kman” has uncovered a Reuters news post stating that X-Play Online Games Inc. actually signed a deal with Take-Two International S.A . (a subsidiary of Take 2 Interactive) to be the exclusive distributor of one of its products. However, the product that X-Play got the exclusivity for may not be NBA 2K13.
